Fresh from its successful showing at the Leicester event last autumn, Secom plc is preparing for another major opportunity to meet the retail sector’s decision-makers at the Retail Risk London conference in March.
Secom is a sponsor of the one-day conference in Hammersmith, which is expected to draw a large number of retailers keen to hear expert advice on security solutions and other tactics to reduce risk in the retail environment.
Already a long-standing supplier of security solutions for retail, Secom will be promoting its new strategy for security. At the core is its world-class Control and Command Centre – overlaid with enhanced surveillance to minimise shrinkage while also providing valuable management information on the in-store behaviour of honest customers.
Commercial Director Alan Blake says: “Loss-prevention is an important consideration for most retailers, and Secom is proud to be helping a significant number of ‘household name’ companies – and smaller stores – with electronic solutions that address this risk.
“Developments in security technology over the past decade have brought a huge advance in our ability to serve the retail sector, to the extent that we can now deliver holistic solutions scaled to needs across the entire retail spectrum.”
London and Leicester are two of 11 global locations on the annual Retail Risk conference schedule.
Alan Blake says: “Modern store design worldwide has facilitated shoplifting and retail fraud. Our solutions go a long way towards eliminating in-store crime.”
