SECOM's Managing Director Minoru Takezawa has given a lecture to School of Management students at the Royal Holloway University.
He explained to around 80 students studying for either a Master's Degree in Asia Pacific Business or an Undergraduate Degree programme in International Business the key elements of globalising the service industry and the importance of SECOM’s Quality Service Provider initiatives.
These values highlight our global commitment not only to each of our individual customers, but also to the security industry as a whole.
Mr Takezawa also spoke about SECOM's belief that intruder alarms and other security systems should be sold as services and not standalone devices.
He explained that these perspectives are instilled at all levels of the company so that employees are proud to offer a fast, positive and proactive response to any incident in order to make the customer feel safe.
Dr Robert Fitzgerald, Course Director of the Asia Pacific Business Programme, commented on Mr Takezawa's lecture: "I am grateful for your personal participation and the involvement of SECOM.
"Our students found the lecture an interesting insight into SECOM’s initiatives within the security industry and I understand you have already received positive feedback directly from students."
