BSIA release new Code of Conduct

The British Security Industry Association (BSIA) believes that its new Code of Conduct created by its Training Providers section shows its continued drive to raise standards across the security systems and staff sectors.

It replaces the Code of Ethics and is particularly focussed on improving the already high standards of behaviour by its members towards their customers and other stakeholders. Particularly it wants to avoid conflict between personal interests - or the interests of any outside body - with their duties to their company.

"As a relatively new section of the BSIA, it is extremely important to us that we challenge the status quo by striving for continuous improvement in how we behave as professionals," said Paul Tennent, chairman of the Training Providers Section.

Members of the BSIA's Training Providers section are equipped to provide a variety of tutorials, including CCTV training, conflict management and risk management.
