CCTV appeal launched after schoolboys robbed in Blackburn

Lancashire Constabulary has released electronic security images depicting two people they would like to speak to after schoolboys were robbed in Blackburn.

On September 20th at approximately 14:15, four teenagers were approached by three males as they walked down Barton Street.

The men threatened the youngsters and told them to hand over their phones and money, so eventually one of the victims handed over a £5 note.

While the teenagers were fortunately left uninjured by the incident, Detective Constable Dan Perkins said they were "clearly shaken by what had happened".

It is thought the perpetrators left the scene towards Lord Street West.

The individuals in the CCTV systems' still images are both young Asians, one of whom appears to be between 16 and 17 years old and the other is described as aged between 16 and 19.
