Main Function

To provide and achieve the customer service objectives of the company. To improve Installation performance, productivity and maintain installation margins.

Principle responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the customers within a defined business area
  • Ensure productivity and quality of service
  • Promote the goodwill of the company
  • Maintain engineering resource and ensure adequate capacity and skill levels to deliver a quality service
  • Monitor strengths and weakness of engineering teams and provide remedial action as required
  • Manage, Maintain and analyse the results of quality service audits
  • Maintain the total care of internal and external Customer Service throughout the region
  • Attain the budgets that relate to service delivery
  • Manage company assets including Materials, tools, equipment and vehicles
  • Manage health and safety of the team
  • Provide support to London North Engineers via Supervisor weekend call rota
  • Liaison with Service Control
  • Docket Charging
  • Engineer PDA user support
  • Initial review and authorisation of engineer parking expenses (in preparation for line manager)
  • Undertake Police response inspections
  • Any other duties in line with the role, and or as requested by line management

Weekly Reports Required:

  • Monthly Payroll Submission
  • Review of Weekly Chargeable Repor.
  • Pmv Targets / Allocation of Staff to Complete
  • Ensure allocation Of Jobs Per Engineer
  • Engineers Call out Rota’s
  • Engineers Audits
  • Vehicle audits

Knowledge and Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a high level of confidence, self motivation and initiative
  • Previous leadership role or similar
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to remotely manage and motivate a team of engineers,
  • Ability to work on own initiative, to resolve issues and proactively avoid problems
  • A good knowledge of Word, outlook and excel
  • Have a flexible and willing approach to work
  • Team player
  • The Main Objective is to complete task within Time Frames ensuring Company Policy and Procedure’s (and Local) are adhered to
