SECOM’s robust physical security products are all developed from in-house factory designs and are manufactured and installed in a made-to-measure process.
SECOM advises public sector clients on the levels of safety and security their premises require, which are determined by the threats against a building or equipment. The security solution may include: shutters, gates, grilles, anti-ram posts, cages, safes, bullet resistant screens and fencing.
SECOM makes its physical security products 'in-house' allowing us to also design and build one-off physical security solutions for almost any public sector requirement.
All physical security equipment comes with a 12-month warranty and includes an optional service and maintenance package.
American Portcullis Grilles
American Portcullis Grilles combine an open feel with the strength of steel.
The American Portcullis product line is chief among SECOM’s physical protection products. This line of external and internal portcullis grilles is an ideal way to protect public sector properties and building contents. The American Portcullis provides a very real physical presence with the strength of steel for public sector premises, despite its ‘open’ look and feel.

Manufactured from 6mm bright steel rods, the Portcullis Grille is covered with aluminium tubes and vertical aluminium links.
Operation is either manual with assistance of a spring-balanced roller or operated by an electric motor. The Portcullis Grille can form a Brickbond or American In-line pattern with 150mm x 50mm spaces.

Aluminium Roller Shutters
A formidable physical barrier provided by Aluminium Roller Shutters.
SECOM aluminium shutters provide the perfect solution for your physical security needs. The shutters are manufactured from a double skinned extruded lath 8.7mm thick and provide a robust physical barrier from public sector properties. Aluminium Roller Shutters run in a standard guide 60mm wide x 24mm deep and high security guides are also available. The curtain is housed in a profiled aluminium box above when raised.
